Alexa began her design career in Chicago and spent many years designing and creating for a wide variety of brands and industries, both in-house and in agency.

Very Sunny Day is a branding & design studio born out of the desire to put truly meaningful work into the world, and partner with equally enthusiastic people to do so. From startups to more established brands, she strives to create purpose-led solutions that inject real meaning into each business.

The inspiration for this studio's name came from a drawing done when she was 4-years-old. Why a sun? So simple, maybe even generic. But universal. Known everywhere as the same thing. There is beauty in the simplicity of its positivity, optimism and authenticity. It’s how she strives to work, build relationships, and see the world. Plus, it’s the first thing she learned how to draw, so she's pretty attached to it.
